Permits was obtained for commissioning of all facilities built by "Airports of Regions" Management Company as part of the public-private partnership for the construction of the Platov airport facility.
- The documents issued by the Federal Air Transport Agency are the official confirmation that the new passenger terminal and the engineering and office premises are ready for operation, " said Sergey Krasnov, Executive Director of RostovAeroInvest. – We’ve come one step nearer the launch of the Platov airport to service passengers and airlines.
Prior to the permit of Rosaviatsiya (The Federal Air Transport Agency), we’ve obtained conclusions on the compliance of the new facilities with the technical regulations and project documentation, including the requirements for energy efficiency and installation of watt-hour meters. Throughout the construction of the Platov airport complex, from August 2015 to August 2017, Rostekhnadzor’s inspectors visited the construction site each month and inspected the construction documentation and the progress of construction works. The obtained conclusions certify that the parameters of all facilities meet the requirements of the Town Planning Code.
It is a reminder that as part of construction of the Platov airport, the investor builds the following facilities: the terminal for domestic and international airlines with a total floor area of 50 thousand square meters and capacity of 1,740 passengers per hour, equipped with 9 air bridges; an administrative and process facility with a crew briefing room, a special transport and repair service and government control bodies building, a Duty Free warehouse, a production and utility services building, a cynological service building, a logistics warehouse, a boiler room, a cargo terminal, as well as improves the territory, lays out mains on the site and so on. The new Rostov-on-Don airport that is the first absolutely new airport in the history of the modern Russia, will start operations in December 2017.
