From 25 March to 27 October 2017, Platov International Airport (a part of Airports of Regions) operates as per the spring-summer schedule. In the coming season, a record number of domestic flights will be carried out from Rostov-on-Don: 19 direct flights will connect the capital of the Southern Federal District with the cities of Russia.
The geography of domestic flights is represented by the following directions: Moscow (up to 25 flights per day), St. Petersburg (up to 3 flights per day), Yekaterinburg, Grozny, Kazan, Makhachkala, Mineralnye Vody, Mirny, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Norilsk, Sochi, Samara, Surgut, Simferopol, Tyumen, Ufa, Chelyabinsk and Cherepovets.
In the summer season 2018, Rostov-on-Don will be connected by direct flights with 7 cities of the near abroad. Flights to Yerevan, Gyumri, Tashkent, Khujand and Tbilisi are preserved; new directions to Minsk and Batumi are opened.
The foreign regular and charter programmes are expanded. The passengers of the Platov airport are offered two dozen sea and sightseeing destinations of the far abroad: Istanbul (Turkey), Tel Aviv (Israel), Dubai (UAE), Prague (Czech Republic), Barcelona (Spain), Bologna (Italy), Burgas (Bulgaria), Djerba and Enfida (Tunisia), and also 4 directions in Greece (Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes and Kerkyra) and Turkey (Antalya, Bodrum, Gazipasha and Dalaman). In April, there is also the opportunity to have a rest in Phuket and Pattaya (Thailand) and Goa (India).
In the spring-summer season, a total of 26 Russian and international airlines will carry out flights from the Platov Airport to 46 domestic and international destinations.
