The TimeSleep capsule hotel has opened at Platov international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding). The capsule hotel is a Japanese invention that has become popular the world over. It represents sleep cells or pods where clients can make themselves comfortable and repose.
Ensuring the comfort of passengers is one of the top priorities for Platov airport. In 2019 Platov was the first in Russia to be awarded the prestigious 5 stars rating fr om Skytrax. There are 17 single cell pods in the capsule hotel, 4 double pods, a family room with two queen-sized beds, and one VIP-room with a queen-sized bed, private shower and bathroom. All rooms are equipped with an individual automatic air exchange system allowing the maintenance of requisite oxygen levels and the indoor temperature of 21 degrees; they are outfitted with molded mattresses and pillows as well as anti-allergic bed linen. Contemporary design and ergonomic solutions go together well in the interior décor of the pods. Each room has a private LED lamp and plug-in socket, which allows guests to manage their activity causing no discomfort to other sojourners.
Furthermore, there is a shower and toilet in the hotel. The capsule hotel perfectly suits passengers who have to wait for their flight for quite some time.
The hotel is accommodated on the first floor of Platov airport’s passenger terminal near the offices of airlines as well as the baby care room. It operates on a 24/7 basis.
