Platov international airport offers a new service for passengers: baggage and hand luggage disinfection.
Under the coronavirus pandemic disinfection and hygiene issues take on special significance. Disinfection and packaging with a special stretch wrap do not only protect the baggage fr om contamination, damaging and self-opening, but also safeguard the owner from indirect contacts with the virus.
In addition, baggage wrapping prices have been lowered at Platov. For those ordering the wrapping service disinfection is obligatory and included in the price. Travelers may also choose baggage and hand luggage disinfection without wrapping, which is particularly relevant upon the arrival in Rostov-on-Don.
The treatment is performed by finely dispersed sprinkling of the surface with special agents permitted for use by the National Consumer Health Watchdog and effectively killing most types of bacteria, viruses, molds and fungi.
