Preventive measures to check the spread of coronavirus infection have been reinforced at Platov international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding).
The entire personnel apply an antiseptic solution on their hands at the entrance to the passenger terminal and all workplaces are also outfitted with antiseptics. The personnel are provided with individual protective gear. The thermometry of all employees is conducted twice a day during pre-shift and post-shift medical examinations. With first signs of A.R.V.I. an employee is sent off for treatment in a medical institution at the domicile.
Every hour the terminal’s premises are cleaned using disinfectants with special focus on disinfection of the check-in and enquiry counters, contacting equipment in preflight areas, boarding gates, handrails of elevators and moving stairs as well as other public spaces. The ground equipment used for passenger service is also disinfected.
The service of passengers arriving by international flights is carried out with the involvement of personnel from the National Consumer Health Watchdog’s sanitary-quarantine station, exercising double control by taking thermometry using portable and stationary infrared scanners. They take in biological samples of passengers from the risk group. Disinfection rags are used in boarding bridges and all premises on the way of passengers are disinfected after each flight.
UV radiators decontaminating the air are used at the health station, inspection areas as well as arrival and baggage claim areas of international flights.
Passengers are visually and audio alerted to A.R.V.I. and coronavirus contraction prevention.
